Beelden vangen waarbij in een gestold moment alles op zijn plek valt. Dat doe ik graag. De beeldtaal van lichtval, compositie, symboliek, ontroering.
De gedrevenheid voor fotografie is bij mij ontstaan in het doka tijdperk. Mijn werk kenmerkt zich daarom door zwart-witbeelden en veelal het gebruik van het volledige ‘negatief’. Ik gebruik compacte analoge- of digitale camera’s en objectieven met een vast brandpuntsafstand.

Capturing images where everything falls into place in that perfect moment. That’s what I really enjoy doing. The visual language of lighting, composition, symbolism and emotion.
My passion for photography originated in the darkroom era. Therefore my work is characterized by black and white images and frequent application of the complete "negative". I use compact analogue or digital cameras and lenses with a fixed focal length.
